QAMS was founded in 1995 by a group of community members who recognized the need for a local organization dedicated to helping homeless individuals. Since then, we have grown into a thriving nonprofit, serving hundreds of individuals each year.

Our team is made up of dedicated professionals who are passionate about making a difference in the lives of those we serve. From case managers to outreach workers, we work together to provide comprehensive support to our clients.

We are proud to partner with a variety of local organizations to provide the best possible support to our clients. From food banks to healthcare providers, our partners help us extend our reach and impact in the community.

QAMS' mission is to transform unemployed talents, peoples, and resources within Queensland's Multicultural Communities into socio-economic capitals to create employment opportunities.

QAMS endeavours to reduce socio-economic burdens facing low-income earners by strategically employing transformed socio-economic capitals in 'Multicultural Queensland'.

QAMS priorities include working with Multicultural Queensland' and other Community-Based Organisations to Deliver socio-economic capital to achieve potential economic benefits.

QAMS subscribes to the Asset-Based Community Development philosophy - every community has assets that need to be discovered to be used for the general good of the community.

No community is 100 per cent okey-as are human beings - people represent us communities. Therefore, QAMS welcomes everyone with open hearts and minds. QAMS does not focus on individual threats and weaknesses but looks for the strengths and opportunities in every person he or she can make.

Many peoples, different cultural but one country. QAMS believes in Australia's acceptable behaviours- the FAIR GO. Everyone is welcome to QAMS' Multicultural Centre to make his or contribution for peaceful and better Australia.
